Google Maps now shows real-time availability of nearby EV charging stations in US, UK

Google has just updated its Google Maps app to show charging stations for electric cars and indicates in real time whether they are free or in use. The function is available in the United Kingdom and the United States.


At the end of March 2019, France had 25,880 public recharge points (source: Avere / Grieve). This represents a charging point for 6.8 light electric vehicles in circulation, which is rather correct with regard to the European recommendations of one point for 10 vehicles.
